Hello Guys,

 

I just tested today ( maybe i did wrong) the Safelock  but if I lock the car, all the doors can be unlocked/opened from inside. Does anybody know, how to enable safelock?

 

I Have a red light on the driver's Door and i tested with my wife inside and she is able to open the door.

 

I also tried to double click on the fob lock same thing, what i did wrong?

 

 

One press of the lock button on the remote engages the deadlock ( safelock) .

That's What i Did is there any scenario that must be exist to Safelock to work ? if someone in the vehicule is it still work ? I have Kessy Full it change somthing?

Yes and i applied the double click on the Fob no success, stillcan be opened from inside.

I tried One press same thing.

Is this an Option on Skoda or it's by default?

Been default on all the cars I've had but there could be an option somewhere in the infotainment maybe?

 

Should be as above, one press only should be safelocked.

 

I believe if you turn off the interior motion monitors, this also disables safelock so make sure this is enabled also

How close were you to the car with the key. Maybe the car can sense the key so that is why the car can be unlocked from the inside.

Maybe try locking the car and trying after a few minutes with the key out of range of the car.

Not tried checking if it can be unlocked from the inside only that it can’t be unlocked from the outside with the key in the house where we keep it.

I have a Faraday Bag  where i put my Fob when i leave the car for Security  ( Relay hack) i puted it inside but i think the car was still in ( Welcome home) mode the screen did not even shutdown yet when i tested i will take another test with some delay.

I will check the interior sensor if they are off or on thank's

When you turn off the ignition are you getting the written warning and image of a padlock in the central display between the dials to tell you Safe Lock is active?

 

 

If you tested it with someone in the car then the alarm should have sounded after 30 seconds or so.

Are French Kodiaq's alarmed? If you wife was in the car when it was locked then I would have thought the alarm would have sounded whenever she moved.

 

Are you 100% sure SafeLock is available for the French Kodiaq market?

Ok That's a good question I Think Not, I received an email from my dealer that the Kessy Alarm Option with Safelock is an Option i Have only  The Kessy Full without the Alarm, but my Question what is the Red dot button that  blink in my door ?

Have you looked at your owner's handbook or operating manual?  On the English version it tells you on page 22-24 about that flashing red light.  It's telling you if the car is locked or not.

 

Look at what Silver1011 has posted above. Does your car say SafeLock is active when you turn off the ignition?  If the display does not say 'SAFELOCK ACTIVE' then you probably do not have SafeLock.
