Hi 

just looking from some information as to what could be the issue with my 2015 Octavia 1.6tdi it has 87000 miles on the clock and its started to make a droning/Humming noise when I press the accelerator this happens when at idle and not in gear and also when I accelerate? Any knowledge would be great it’s going into the garage this week to be looked at.

A clip of the noise would be helpful.

Yes it sounds a bit like that, I’ll get a video tomorrow when I go to work, any ideas what it couLd be?

Hi I have a video sorry if the quality isn’t that good!!

The garage said it could be an auxiliary pulley but couldn’t do anything till it got worse, I’m not convinced it could be a pulley gonna get it booked in to another garage when I get some free time, need to figure it out it’s driving me crazy!!!

@Jaws20Did you ever get to the bottom of it ? , same car same issue
