I have been trying to find an update for my Yeti and having no luck online...Skoda here in Australia want to charge $500 for an update that's gives Smartlink etc. Can anyone help? it looks like it should be easy to do myself with an SD card...

You will be able to update the firmware, @pab567 can help with that, but I believe Smartlink has to be purchased through a dealer as it’s a licensed option.

Ok thanks, will updating the firmware give me anything useful then?

Generally bug fixes don’t think there are any new features added. My car has SmartLink+ which isn’t working properly and been left with my Skoda dealer and Skoda UK.

Yes, Smartlink has to be purchased through a dealer as it’s a licensed option or unit must be hacked.

Unfortunately there is no SW upgrade available for this unit :(
