Rear Skoda logo debadge

Featured Replies

Was thinking about debadging Skoda logo, but not sure what's under there, if it's just adhesive it's fine, but I've seen some videos of Skoda debadging and some have holes, some have those little centering thingies etc. Anyone debadged mk2 vRS? Good idea? What's under the rear Skoda badge?

My 2006 pre-fl has holes BUT as I was swapping off the original damaged green badge I discovered it was a foil over a black plastic blank.

It'd be worth a breakers yard explore or buy an oem badge to strip back and prep if you wanted a 'button'.

Personally I'm all for personalising your ride, but to remove, fill and paint badge depressions seems a lot of hassle.

Yeah that's why I'm not sure, saw a lot of debadge videos, some of them are literally just adhesive, take the badge off, add some adhesive remover and scrub, done. If it was like that I'd love it

Which are you wanting to remove?

The rear lettering and vRS badges don't have any locating pins AFAIK.

I think the rear round Skoda badge does. It also sits in a recess (at least on the facelift) so I think it would look pretty odd if you just removed it :)

Yeah that's what I wanted to know! Rear circular Skoda badge, so basically if I want to debadge, I will have to do some extra work in addition to just taking it off right?
