I have 2017my superb.

There is mirrorlink option in radio.

Can i somehow set up youtube on display radio? Or browser?

when i connect iphone via usb cable to radio there is just some apps nothing useful. Can i somehow look pictures on radio from iphone?

iPhones use CarPlay, not MirrorLink. If you want more apps than CarPlay offers you will need a jailbroken iPhone and CarBridge.

Hi Sasha on my 2019 Octavia if I connect via usb to use car play, the phone usability stops working and I have to disconnect wire use to enable the car to recognise use of the phone again, is this normal?

On the few cars I have with CarPlay, it’s not like that, phone usually keeps on going.

So on android mirrorlink is more apps?

 

It’s just another connection option, so you can pick between AA and MirrorLink. System is slightly different in terms of UI and options.

But is posible to run youtube on car screen?

I am not sure if MirrorLink will let you watch videos, my guess is no, but if you want to try it you will need an android phone as it is not supported on iPhone

i used to be able to watch YouTube videos on my Columbus unit, via MirrorLink using my old HTC One X mobile.

i haven't been able to recently (changed phones, now i have a Pixel 5) as MirrorLink will only work with certain Android phones.

 

i was able to view anything that was shown on my phone, and interact with it using the Columbus screen.  Chrome, Calculator, Pictures etc etc.

I stand corrected, that is actually quite impressive. 

 

I have never been able to get it to work in my car, it always seemed to put my phone into meltdown, may have to give it another go now!
