MY2014 Octavia 3 LED DRL ballast module purchase

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone!

I am Sid from India and new to the forum. I would like to ask a question.

My left headlight's LED DRL has gone yellow for My 2 014 Octavia 3 2.0 TDI (as you can see in the below picture).

So I searched for the DRL LED module and found the Skoda part number 4G0907697D and photos available on different websites have been attached.

I talked to service center but they say the whole headlight unit has to be changed. Can you guys help me if the part is correct and can I purchase it?

@SashaGrace I have heard so much about you in the forum and kind request would you help me here?

A friend of mine is returning from Germany to India in a week so I can get the part through him here.

I'd try switching the two LED drivers over to see if the problem stays with the headlight or the driver :)

You'll be able to check the part number at the same time if you need a replacement

As above, the LED drivers are on the bottom of the light unit so try swapping them, see if the problem goes with the driver. If not, it’s a headlight swap as the LED strip is moulded in.

@langers2k   @SashaGrace Thanks for your input guys. I will definitely try swapping the bottom LED modules.

Cheers!
