I've changed laptops and lost my drivers for the KKL cable... been searching and installing/failing all afternoon... anyone help please?

Thanks... I think I've already been there (although, I am going to have a(nother) look, Ive tried so many sites - a couple very iffy, I've lost track 

You can also try gendan: http://www.gendan.co.uk/faq/409_win7.php#1

 

They are an official VCDS distributor so should be trust worthy.

 

There is also something here: https://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/usb/virtual-com-port.php

 

But I've no idea if that'll work with a 409.

Thanks mate... still no luck (I hadn't tried the drivers only Rosstech link).. wondering if my cable is goosed 

 

Only need it to find the bloody SKC so I can program immobiliser chips!!.. 

Sorted... I think....

 

Dismantled the cable, identified the chip and went to the manufacturers site for the relevant download... of course I've already ordered another cable but that's not the point
