Heko deflectors, issue with the clips.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I had Heko deflectors fitted to my old '06 X-Trail, it was a doddle, so figured I'd get some for my Karoq...

The tolerances on the Karoq are so much tighter, and I've tried getting the clips in but no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? Did those of you with Heko deflectors manage to brute force the clips, or do they stay in OK with just double sided tape?

Thanks in advance, Jeff.

I haven't fitted them to a Karoq, but have fitted them to my Fiat Ducato campervan.....

I just used a screwdriver to push them in. I think that if you don't use the clips the deflectors will block the channel that the glass uses to slide up, I don't think the self adhesive strips will "pull" the glass out of the way. But I haven't actually tried it without them.....

Good luck with it....

Fitted them to my 18 plate karoq instructions supplied shows clips with spigot facing the plastic it should face the window rubber.
