My 2011 1.6 this greenline is fitted with a rns 310 I'm tempted to fit a different stereo I know about the rns 510 but they are a bit pricey I was wondering if there are cheaper options I did once fit a suppose Chinese one but drained the battery so gave up on that idea anyone recommend an alternative option please 

Are you sure it drained battery?

Given the MY of your car, it should have the Getaway module which does not carry this issue..

Yes it did I bought a new battery as I thought mine in the car was no good it still did the same reverted back to the rns 310 been working fine since
