Virtual Cockpit ‘background’ & ‘eco’ dial???

Featured Replies

Anybody know what these do?

Background changes the background style/image of your dash. The Eco option is a G-force meter apparently which I has so little to do with economy, that I have no idea why they added it.

Surely the less G being created equals less work for the engine equals more ECO?
That’s how I’d link the two🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you. The eco display does seem a bit trivial. G-forces?  It’s a 1.0L 3 cylinder DSG. Just pootles around.  :-).

Eco sign show up when your car either switches off some of cylinders in the engine or when automatic transmission rolls in neutral. This happens when certain criteria for economical driving style are met.
