is my interior real leather ?

Featured Replies

is the interior in my car real leather ? my last car before this one had leather interior and it felt much more thicker and harder its just that the leather in my 2013 superb Elegance feels a lot more softer and thinner just didn't know if it was real leather or some other material that is like leather?

and i didn't know if it needed some kind of leather conditioner or not?

they are very comfy anyway lol

cheers kev

Seats are leather, door cards are leatherette. I'm not 100 % sure about the controls but I think they're leather too.

Some will say modern leather doesn't need conditioner, I haven't found it do any harm, and it's not like it's that expensive.

thanks for the reply, appreciated kev

When you press your finger into genuine leather on the seat faces, it creates gentle folds pointing into the dip where your finger is.

The plastic leather, on seat backs for example, doesn't do this. It just creates an even hollow around the finger tip.
