vibrating fuel lines

Featured Replies

I get vibrations coming from driver door around 1800-2000 revs, it's completely consistent with fuel lines vibrating against the body.

The car is five years old, so around the point when it's not worth paying dealership prices for rubberised fuel lines.

How easy and feasible do you think it would be to do at home?  I'm reasonably competent, and could use cloth based tape.  Or has anyone had this fixed at a non dealer, was it expensive?

Many thanks,

Mark

Perfect, thank you.  I can't quite see in the pic where the pad has gone but it should make sense when I have a go.
