Just a quick hello before I head off into the depths of the forums. Interested in purchasing either an Octavia or Superb estate in the next year or so, so signed up to do a bit of research.

 

Current daily is an 08 Vectra bought as cheap motoring. Also have an 04 Touareg which is in the process of being fettled to return it to the road after being Sorn'd for nearly 2 years.

You'll find plenty to research hereabouts.  My Octavia (vRS) was a more entertaining car, but the Superb (V6TDI) before it was a more spacious and effortless cruiser.  Depends very much what you want it for.
