Problems after battery reversed

Featured Replies

Unfortunately 2 days ago I plugged the battery in the wrong way round. At first nothing would work apart from a few lights inside but I then managed to trace the problem to the main fuse (think that's the name) just down from the fuse box in the engine bay and after replacing it the car started.

I checked over all fuses and had to replace a few but now it looks like the only problem left is a problem with the central locking system, the car reacts to unlocking but doesn't do anything when trying to lock it. As well as this the boot lid won't open and the washers don't work for the window (only the headlight washers every 8 activations). But the wipers work if activated.

I plugged a computer in and it came up with "03396 - supply voltage terminal 30 for central locking 011 - open circuit" I've been looking for an answer all day and can't seem to find anything so any help at all would be much appreciated.

Cabin fuses 23 and 14 are the first relevant looking ones I've spotted but I'll have to leave it there for tonight.

Turns out fuse 14 was blown, I changed it and everything works and I can hear the boot motors working but when I press the one to open the boot it squeals like a cat and does nothing :(
