Just wondering if there is a guide on here on were to run the power cable for a sub and amp on a octy. Did a quick search and only got guides for a furby :confused:

through the bulkhead via a large grommet then down the sides

its as easy as that mate

and i have zero gauge live and 4 or so sets of phono's running through mine so much can be done

If you take your n/s scuttle cover off and then remove your panel filter you will see the grommet at the back of the bulkhead. Remove the grommet then poke a hole through with a screwdriver or similar and then push your cable through. Push back into place enough so you can grab it (with your glovebox removed) the other side inside the car.

Both your side trims pull up after you have removed the bottom half of your door seals. Be careful with the centre trim panel-I loosened the bottom of mine to get the cable through.

You can then guide your cable along the sill and then behind the trim panel covering your wheel arch(held on with push down clips) and into your boot.

Refitting is the reverse of removal as they say in those damn Haynes thingies!

i just did this yesterday and used a small grommet to the right of the pollen filter pull up the blackcover type thing (dont know what its called )under the front screen slightlty to get to it then coat hanger with cable taped to to pull through then down the sides like previous posts say

I've been looking for the Fabia guide and can't find it. Can you point me in the right direction as apparently I can find almost anything anywhere on the internet but can't navigate a forum.

edit: most of the links to howto's etc just take me back to the main forum menu and other howto's pictures have disapeared with time, I guess all the old links went when the site was revamped.

i just searched a lot (this site to) for making the power cable in my fabia from motor to cabin??! anyone got a guide!

i'll take some pics when i do mine later this week tnc99. watch this space and see if i remember, lol!
