Good bye Karoq

After looking for about 5 months for a used Karoq with Acc and heated front screen dsg and 20l diesel I’ve given up I could have ordered new but didn’t want to wait as I’m over my mileage allowance as it is and the dealer quoting 3 to 4 months delivery,

I’m staying with Skoda and have bought a Superb estate sport plus 20d dsg

I will miss the Karoq but I’m looking forward to more boot space (got a dog ) and new toys

Is there an option to code the mode select option to pre-FL Octavia MK4 with 1.5 TSI engine? There isn't a button, obviously, since the equipment wasn't selected at purchase. However, AFAIK, you can select and customize the driving mode through the infotainment as well. Also, does the mode selection actually bring any noticeable effect on the engine responsiveness and steering feel? Thanks!

Has anyone encountered any software, malfunctions, collision prevention, sos, battery, etc. problems in the 2025 Skoda Superb models? There are so many complaints etc. written about the models of 2024 that I cannot buy a new vehicle because I am afraid. Well strange predicament due to dads age and alzheimers diagnosis he shifted his car to me. Pretty damn nice car 1.8T DSG 2014 less than 20k, packed with as much as mine has and more besides like adaptive cruise, folding mirrors. Not sure I need 2 though longer term tho....useful for now though as my petrol vRS similar vintage really could do with a clutch <80k miles so I am grateful for it regardless ! Not exactly the slow option either, obviously not quite as good as a 2.0T but better eco

We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). And the road noise is just the high dB tyres and lack of sound insulation. The electronic gremlins were put down to a failing 12v battery which
