Keys not locking car, but will open car and open the boot

I have two keys and as of this morning neither will lock the car and when pressing the lock button on the keys the car doesn't do the hazard light flash. When I press the unlock button the car does the hazard light flash and I can hold down the boot button and the boot will pop open.

I've searched and can only really find other posts about the entire central locking not working, but none specific to an issue with the car not locking but will register the click to unlock it and will open the boot.

Any ideas what could be going on?

I have a separate issue I'm posting up in a second that I'm not sure is related but I have had the issue with the door wires snapping and the boot wires (likely) snapping leading to a driver door airbag warning (RHD) and the warning about the reverse lights not working even though they both work. Could either of those wire issues cause the central locking issue? The reason I doubt they are related is that I've had the driver door loom go before and this didn't happen, and the reverse light issue has been on the car for two months and I'm only now popping off the trim in the boot to fix it. So this warning has been on the car for two months and there's been no issues with the central locking.
