Am I going mad? The Handbook bleakly states that there is a place to keep cash in the glove box, as well as a pen slot and card slot. I just can't see a place to specifically put money. Is it where I presume the CD player was located on earlier models? And if so, how do I get inside it, please?!

Mine is an early 2021 car, and the manual talks about having places to keep SD cards. But since MIB3 cards can't use SD cards that seems to be leftover from the MY20 manual. 

 

However when I open the glovebox 'door' I have three slots inside it which can hold pound coins or trolley tokens. I suppose these might also hold an SD card should it be needed. The pen holder is on the left hand side of the glovebox, with a spring clip above it (to hold a notepad I suppose).

PS: The small dropdown cubby hole by your right knee has a slot to hold a credit/debit card in too. And there are also card slots in the central 'jumbo box' of course.

Thank you, Chris. I will have a look tomorrow to see if my gloves door has some cash slots. At the moment I have cash being kept in a sweet tin!

Mines a MY21 but nothing in the glove box but slots in the central consoles.

Just been and checked mines the same, I've never noticed, so I stand corrected. Very handy for the tyre pressure gauge. Had to use a torch to look as no light in mine, though it does have cooling

Mines just got the one recess in the "lid". ....not sure I would claim it was a cash storage area! But there is a cooler switch which is good news
