Finally got my Superb 2.0TDI SE Business.

Can someone advise me on screen upgrade and software/map upgrade? Looks like I have Amundsen MIB2 with 6.5ish screen?

I seem to remember someone here installed a columbus screen onto amundsen unit?

 

Also I would like to install RVC, should I get it done by the dealer or is it simple enough? I understand I will have to get it coded.

The wiring shouldn't be a problem, only thing I'm worried about is cutting the bigger hole for the larger boot button/cam.

So after some research I narrowed it down to two units.

 

3V0919606 - 8" Pre-Facelift Matt screen with physical buttons.

5E0919605M - 8" Facelift Gloss screen  with touch buttons.

 

Any pros-cons for each? Can't seem to decide which I like better.

the 5E0919605M is Octavia screen.

Looks like the glossy screen part number is 3V0919605D can anyone confirm??

Will it work with MIB2 Amundsen unit?
