Featured Replies

I tried to enable virtual subwoofer & SKODA surround for my Kodiaq.the  sound is not working after coding.

can anyone help me out for enabling this feature with vcds vex v2.

Sure, can you post an autoscan from before and after your changes?

Might also help if you say what you did :)

Hi ,

thanks for the response.

I have tried coding with VCDS ROSSTECH VEX V2.

5F information electronics
Long coding
Bit-7
Byte -11

(Sound system INTERNAL to Sound system INDIVIDUAL)

Note : my car is displaying Sound_system_ External _ Most (instead of sound_system_ INTERNAL)

So I changed Sound_system_ External _ Most to Sound_system_INDIVIDUAL.

I got the display of VIRTUAL SUBWOOFER AND SKODA SURROUND in my HEADUNIT but no sound output after coding.

Regards

That'll probably be your problem.

You have an external amplifier and this tweak is only suitable for the internal amp.

When you change from Sound_system_ External_ Most to Sound_system_INDIVIDUAL, you'll be turning off the optical feed to the amp which is why you have no sound ;)

Change it back to Sound_system_ External_ Most, clear any error codes and you should be fine again.

Thank you so much....

I tried to enable TPMS,COMFORT DRIVE MODE, HIGHBEAM ASSIST , but I am unable to find perfect coding/adaptions.

Need help.
😊

Post your autoscan and adaption maps.

Tweaks will depend on which modules you've got so it's hard to give advice without knowing what's fitted :)
