Fait beep from behind dash.

Featured Replies

Hi. I have a 2009 1.9 diesel Fabia. There is a quiet beep every 30 seconds from behind the dash area. This is happening with the engine off and on and while driving. There are no warning lights when the car is on.

The car is well maintained and had a full service in March.

Do you have an ISOFIX child seat fitted? Sounds like the beep from one of them not secured or with the belts undone.

If it's from behind the dash though? Not sure. Possibly an aftermarket device of some kind.

OK.

Maybe my hearing needs checking.

I am a volunteer first responder and the defib in my boot was beeping to let me know there is problem with it.

Ah yes, I've had to drive a car with one of those with the same thing happening too. I'd forgotten about that. Glad you found it!

Sounds like a great idea apart from the beeping. Where can I buy a pair of boots with one integrated?

You can buy dem at 'de Fib' shop?  ;)

Thanks, AG Falco
