Departure Warning Deactivated?

Featured Replies

New TDI VRS landed yesterday after 4 happy years with a A4 Avant.

Have been keeping my eye on this forum for the last few weeks in the run up to delivery.

Anyway as per, I have a 'report' flagged already.

'Departure warning deactivated. Production mode'

Any ideas what this is? Assume a trip to the dealer is needed to get it rectified?

...and now the parking sensors have gone. 25miles on the clock 🤦🏻

I've not had the departure warning but had an 'airbag error' after a week and had the parking sensors deactivated 3-4 times....seems to sort itself out after a restart but still frustrating.

I’m sure you are, but please make sure you inform your dealers of these issues and in writing as soon as possible. Cars coming off the production line still have inherent software issues.  Unless displeasure is articulated to the dealers and then to Skoda UK nothing will be done to sort these issues out.  Also, it will help you in the case that these frustrations turn into something more serious and you consider rejecting your vehicle.

Get the faults logged right away and in writing.  Provide picture evidence too.
