inner tail light activation

Featured Replies

Hello every one, please i need your help with my kodiaq 2019.

I want to activate inner tail light. Can you give the coding via adaptation please?

Thanks a lot

Are you sure the LED's are fitted? There are a few different inner tail light part numbers so I'd be surprised if they were fitted but not enabled.

At a guess, you're going to need two new inner tail lights and to add the appropriate wiring as per the factory wiring diagram.

Someone over in Russia has done something similiar: https://www.drive2.ru/l/542576004032366169/

I'll verify if they are fitted or not.

If they were fitted is there a coding to anable them??

Thanks

Yes, I expect they would need coding after fitting.

I haven't got an adpmap from a suitable Kodiaq but it should be pretty obvious what needs changing. In short, you'll need to activate whichever light channels you connect them to by setting the bulb type, functions and brightness.

I investigated this briefly as I was concerned over only having on reverse light on our SE.  It seems however that there are no LEDs in most of the nearside inner light - its effectively just the housing and decorative.  A new inner light unit is about £100 so with that and the messing about to get the wiring in place I'll live with it for the time being...   After all I don't see the rear lights from inside the car.
