How many have NOT rejected & have their car at the dealer awaiting a fix?

Featured Replies

Several of us took our cars to the dealer and were given a loan car whilst Skoda UK initiated investigations for the issues, notably the kph/mph issue afflicting many an early build vehicle. There are of course several other notable issues and some design features & compliance features which cause frustration, along with the inevitable software bugs. In order to escalate it to the factory and get past the ‘one off problem’, Skoda UK needed a certain number (greater than five, or maybe seven. Can’t remember what they said) for that investigation to be done. Pressure through us writing direct to Skoda UK and through Honest John no doubt had some influence. Ultimately I believe it to be the kph/mph issue that triggered the call-in of some cars, the issue (I understand) makes the vehicle non-compliant with UK regulations, and whatever implications that may have.

My car, an SE L First Edition, has been been back at the Dealer since mid-April; and I hope for a fix for the kph/mph issue to be applied soon. But am I now the only one? I’m beginning to feel like a lone voice here!

So, I’m curious. How many others still have their car at a Dealers, driving a loan car, and awaiting the fix to be applied to their own?

Mine's awaiting a fix to reinstate the Nav database, took it into the MD last Friday who had it all day, Couldn't fix it so have asked Skoda Technical, No updates yet. Car is still with me however...

I'm also awaiting the kph/mph fix, car is with me and not at the garage.

I am awaiting a call to fix the SOS infotainment crashing and constantly trying to find user settings. Jan 21 built car.
