Cant find out how to switch it on.???????????

I have never been able to find the swich by looking in the manual

Usually you push the stalk away from you.

Maybe you just dont have a rear windscreen wiper at all, if you car is not an estate then you might not have one if its a saloon.

I have a saloon and I have one.

Most of the saloons i have seen did not have one, depends if you payed for one when ordering

Ooh, we have another difference between markets, for us here (Croatia) for a saloon, it was a paid option, 150EUR, not sure on the 2020/21, but for the older orders you had to pay for it!

YOU ARE ABSOLUTLY CORRECT THE CAR DOSN'T HAVE A REAR WINDSCREEN WIPPER. DIDNT BOTHER TO LOOK AS ALL MY CARS HAD ONE. WHY NO REAR WINDSCREEN WIPER ???????

Well, in my country it was a paid option, on the earlier MY, 2016-2019, not sure on the newer model years, on the saloons at least, the estates get it all as standard here. Has to do with aerodynamics, supposedly the saloons dont need them as the airflow cleans the windscreen, while the estates need them due to lacking airflow. Anyways glad we sorted that out! You are not missing out on a lot, as long as you have rear screen heating you can clear almoast anything except dirt with that!

EDIT: Seems like in my country its still a paid option to have the wiper on the saloon, on MY2020 and above, 150EUR extra option!

I’m glad my hatch does have the free option rear wiper (though it has stuck half way several times recently and despite multiple videos of it on my phone my local dealer won’t act unless they actually see it failed ) but I had exactly your experience with my old mk2 twindoor hatch, never even thought about it when looking until I drove away after purchase and tried to activate it! Obviously on that model it wasn’t an option due to the clever double hinged boot but I use it so frequently for rear visibility is not want to be without it and don’t feel it spoils the look as some say.

In the 5 ½ years I owned my MK3 not once did I think ‘I wish it had a rear wiper’ but mine was ceramic coated (windows also treated). 

I have to say I was initially disappointed at not having a rear wiper but I hardly notice it now. I am still torn though over the practicalities of having one over the aesthetics of not having one. Maybe why it's a free option here as ultimately it's down to personal choice when buying a new car.

Strange why its NOT an free option here, should be IMHO!
