Hello all...

Featured Replies

First, thank you for allowing me to join this great site.

That makes me a newbie... I'm currently on my fourth Fabia, a Mk2 hatchback. Previous models were a MK1 Fabia estate (family workhorse) with huge mileage and a vast collection of kids debris inside (scratches, old sweets, stickers, etc), then a nice Mk1 estate (pristine and low mileage) sadly written off in a accident, then a Mk1 hatchback (by which time I was well and truly enamoured by Skoda) which (sounds daft) became 'the' car for me. Totally, relentlessly reliable and many happy adventures here and in Europe with it.....till the cambelt went and trashed the engine.

A sad day indeed, and watching the old girl towed off to the scrapyard almost bought a tear to my eye. They say you shouldn't become attached to a car, but I'm not sorry to say that little Skoda really hooked me in.

Finally have a nice clean low mileage Mk2 hatchback, but still trying to pass the stage of comparing this one to the last. It'll be a long time before that happens I think...

Nice car, but had to remove that annoying armrest!

Hobbies are driving the Skoda anywhere there's a road, past history, chocolate, and being around my family.

Thanks again!
