MK2 Octavia vrs Diesel: Slow Acceleration

Featured Replies

Had the car for just under a year, it slaped real quick when I purchased it then 5 months later there was a lack of power due to me only driving it around town.

So slapped it on the motorway & B-roads for a decent amount of time; Seem to comeback after that. (NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH)

But in the last 2 months been a bit iffy, One day I took it out it was sluggish so I planted my foot for a good while, then I came to a red light and it pulled like a train and for the rest of the drive.

Now it's just a lack of power.

  • Took it to skoda and he said that there was no turbo spool. & End cap of this thing is gone (Refer to Image 1) & Turbo Pipe Collapsed. (Refer to Image 2)

  • Had the turbo checked my local garage and he said he couldn't find an issue; got him to clean the turbo and replace the airfilter, I was able to hear the turbo spool easy now; it better now but still not solved the complete problem.

Need a little
