Hi! I recently purchased a 2007 Skoda Octavia Facelift. Everything went pretty well until last night my board display was dimmer than usual, I'll put a pic and I gotta tell you that I've left a little friend in the car and he pressed every button there was. I don't know if that's the reason or not :) but I tried to drive it during the day and you can hardly see what's on the bord display, almost like it's turned off. And no, it's not that little wheel you spin to adjust the interior lights. I tried it for 100 times. Any ideeas? I'd be greatful! And thanks for your time.

Try banging hard on top of the instrument cluster, probably a loose connection/bad solder joint.

Yeah I'd say it's a loose connection or solder joint. Probably can be realised. There are companies that can repair them for not a huge amount of money.
