Which battery normal or stop start.

Featured Replies

Hi guys I got a new battery for my vrs from Halfords and it’s a normal standard battery with 54 AH but it was swapped out for one which was a stop start and I now realise that it was slightly more powerful do you think I should change it for the same one or higher or keep it with the standard one from Halfords. 92EECA64-82EC-423F-B5E3-D4121AB5594D.thumb.jpeg.0ff1ca55576e10a515f58259cd65c163.jpeg

Both photos appear to show standard batteries.

Cars without start/stop need to use standard batteries.

Cars with start/stop need to use ones that are EFB or AGM type.

Does you car have start/stop?

No it don’t.
A dude from Halfords said it was.

The guy from halfords is in the wrong job if he is telling you your vrs has stop/start :notme:

Lol but u think the size is ok they said it’s the biggest one for this car but some folks on vrs sight on fb suggested 65ah 600 or 65ah 640 , both bigger than the 54ah 500 they put in

You didn't talk to the guy from Halfrauds that had the brain cell that day, if he told you that a Fabia 2 has stop/start fitted,
