re fitting window mech

Featured Replies

Hello I've fitted a new deadlock and now need to re fit the window mech back in place.

I can see how the slider goes back in to the white clip but the 2 cables are tight.

There any good vids or pictures showing this re fit?

Manual rear window.

Thanks

You should be able to easily align the regulator dowel hole with the hole in the metal door panel by moving the regulator up or down with the winder handle. If this is not the case there is something else wrong. Maybe the regulator is catching on something inside the door after you replaced it?

I removed everything  and the only thing left was the window and white plastic connector. I didn't removed the dowl it slide down the mech.

I drilled out all the rivets to get the metal cover of the door.

I managed to fix the mech I got a replacement.

The main problem I had I drilled everything out and you only need to do the metal panel on the door.
