Kamiq - cannot set primary user

User account on skoda-connect looks good

Car is in 'The Garage' on the account, but needs verification (press unlock on both key - please contact customer services) - who then seem the read the help text about the problem and send it to me.

Is there any way to check is the supplying dealership has done 'customer verification' where they record in their systems that the car belongs to this owner.?

You need to have a safety code removed only dealer can do this plus there's complete update takes 4/5 hours

They certainly don't make things easy do they?

We've had our lease car since June and set everything up then got to the primary set up and it just kept saying there was a problem so have just left it for now.

Hi,

I had a similar issue with my Scala. the car needs to be off (engine not running) but I think the ignition needs to be on.

Hope this helps.

Yeah still hasn't worked for me despite following various methods.

If it wasn't a lease car, I'd be bothered but just can't get overly frustrated with it as everything else appears to work.

Mine was fixed after 6 months (Now they have got a fix) plus I got an extra 6 months skoda connect free as I was not able to use it
