Just wondering if anyone had exsperenced the plastic sleeve on the bar cracking and making loads of noise,i belive there is a superseeded part anyone had it fitted

Not experienced this myself but it is a known problem that should be sorted out under warranty...if you are still within the warranty period.

For more details use the search facility for front arb problem.

If that's what the noise from mine is, I'll get on to the dealer this week.

Same problem on mine....plastic sleeve cracks because the roll bar had rusted, thus expanding the sleeve and then cracking.......Modified part no; is..........

:) Just a question of dropping subframe:eek: it can just hang, if your on a ramp so that you can easily gain access to everything...

Well worth it in my opinion as i run OE shocks/springs but have uprated both roll bars...very impressive turn in now:cool:

Do you need to remove all connections to the body? Presumably re-fitting it 'square' can be a problem?
