OBDEleven on the Mk1?

Featured Replies

Anyone know if OBDEleven has full functionality on the Mk1?

Read some comments (elsewhere) that some older cars don't have access to all the modules, wondering if the mk1 was one of them before I drop the cash...

The mechanic who helps me look after my MkI seems to think so.

Which modules are supposedly inaccessible, according to these comments?

*Good to know, thanks.

**Dunno .. spent a day googling (and youtubing) and just picked up that older cars may not have full functionality..

On a MK1 there are not that many modules fitted anyway and very limited amount of customisation you can do to those modules that are fitted

Not particularly interested in customising tbh. Needle sweep is funky I guess.

Just want to know if I ditch VCDS in favour of OBDEleven I'll have the same, or very similar, options.

typo

I would keep VCDS far better

Needle sweep isn't a tick box option you need to re-write the eeprom data with VagTacho I tried it on my old L&K but it didn't work
