P1662

Hello again. I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I'm in a hurry to deliver the car to my nephew who is a student at another town and he will not be able to fix some things. 

The last problem (I hope) I have to deal with is the error 18070 - p1662 coolant fan control 2: short to ground. 

I replaced the fan control module (1j0919506k) but the problem continues. The A/C works ok, the radiator fans work ok but the ecu always throw this code. I returned the new module as doa but the second replacement threw the same error. So, it's definitely something else. 

Any ideas?
