Turn off buttons for rear interior light?!?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Ive just had to buy a new battery as my 2

Year old turned on my interior rear lights when we parked up for a small  holiday and had a flat battery when come back to the car- the battery was old so prob needed replacing anyways - or atleast that's what I'll keep telling my self...

Is there a way I can stop the button function of the rear interior lights?!?

Now he has discovered them, he enjoys turning them on 😕

Tidy up

Take the bulbs out.

I'd like to keep them coming on when I open the door, but stop him messing with them

Try turning the front roof lights to the off position (O) it may disable all roof lights including the rear as it does in my Superb iirc.

A deeply discharged battery can often be rescued by recharging immediately with an external charger provided not too much time (days) have passed, and the battery was previously in fairly good condition.

Will check that out, thanks

When you changed to battery, did you get recoding done. It'll probably be ok but it's recommended to tell the car a new battery has been installed in software so it can charge it appropriately.

Button to "0" kills all lights fully, not what the OP wanted, you can't turn the rears off separately,

Time to trade in child with one less inquisitive or connect them to a dynamo to charge daddy's flat battery...
