@Faly what engine and gearbox has it and what does the service history show as ever done in the dealership network and what had been done outside it according to any invoices or receipts.  A Service History in the first 3 years can show how little night be done at Main Dealerships at services.       PS.    I imagine a dealership would love the work. Another pollen filter, plugs or fuel filter, air filter. AC service. Brake fluid change, Fuel treatment, brakes 80% worn. Etc etc.  I would find a good Independent and get what it needs over and above and oil change and not be charged £600 plus.

What exactly is "Extended Scope" for £59?

It is at 3 years they repeat things they say is part of the oil and inspection service and open their eyes and spot more than they bothered looking at for the first 30 minutes with the car.    Look at Skoda fixed service and maintenance menu it shows you. Sorry can not link it just now.

So actually a squirt of grease on the doors.....I wonder how many will check/notice whether that has been done or not...

I have never had to lubricate my car doors ever in 50 years of car ownership. Or put grease or copperslip on battery terminals for that matter.

I have. I had a car that made a blooming awful graunching noise when I opened and closed one of the passenger doors. A bit of heavy grease on the door arm sorted it nicely.

Now it's normally done as part of the service, and I don't think anything of it. I wouldn't pay extra to have it done, mind.

Many decades ago mechanics, fitters or apprentices started greasing door, boot or hatch hinges and putting petroleum jelly on battery terminals at services.  It saved the customers from doing it because that was what they were expecting done when paying others to service and maintain their vehicle.  Like when grease guns were required as there were grease nipples of places to lube.  They had all the gear, all the right grease or oils and they were trained on how to maintain a vehicle for use in the UK through the seasons.
