12V socket in boot

I have just bought a Scala but it doesn't come with boot socket fitted now (only available as part of a pack)

1 Does anyone know if the supply wire is hidden behind the trim (have removed blank plate but nothing

directly behind).

2 How does the carpet trim come off  are the edges just tucked under the plastic trim.

Thanks

Unfortunately I haven't managed to pull the carpet off yet to get to the wiring loom.

I can see the loom through the gap behind the  socket blanking plate

so I may try and 'hook ' the loose wires to test them .The  'loose' wires look  brown

coloured anyone know if they are the correct ones?

Thanks

I have had another look at this and the brown cables I can see are the earth cables attached to body.

I removed the net holding bracket and  bag hanger but still cant pull carpet back. It looks like plastic trim needs to be removed

but that's something I don't want to pull on as I don't want to break anything.

You have to take the plastic trim off not the carpet
