Anyone have any idea why when the vehicle is locked my puddle lamp is kinda pulsing / breathing… unlock the vehicle and it’s fine… lock it again and it goes back to pulsing… 🥴

did u replace the lamp with an aftermarket LED one?

 

usually the pulsing/flickering means a poor quality lamp, and is not CANBUS friendly.

Nope…. Oem… 

however I did figure out that the Mrs left her sun shade down with the light on (it just wasn’t dark enough to notice at first) 

It looks like it was indicating internal lights were on as once I sorted that it locked without the pulsing. Just no mention of this in the manual….
