BAM inlet manifold on the AUQ?

Featured Replies

I have searched and found snippets here and there, mostly in old threads (that I'm a bit wary of bumping)..

When fitting the BAM inlet manifold to the AUQ, is it just the manifold that's needed or are any ancillaries require too?

Anything else to consider?

Different pipework perhaps?

My inlet is grim looking and I wanted to clean it up, if I can achieve that and make an improvement at the same time everyone's happy (well, I'm happy - and that's what's important)

The throttle body is on the other side on the BAM engine, so not a direct replacement. Unless you're modifying it (FMIC etc.) I'd stick with the AUQ one.

Of course I'm modifying it.. kinda the point isn't it?

I've managed to piece together most of the relevant info from so many sources (not easy on a bloody smartphone I tell thee) and, while it may make life easier for the inevitable FMIC, I'm probably not going to bother. Yet. If ever.
