Issue with installing head unit and black main input

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I've recently purchased an aftermarket head unit of Amazon (Lexxson android 10) and I'm encountering a major issue.

The input from the new head unit is the top left pic, whereas the Bolero radio already installed has the following input below that.  As you can see the bottom bit is full with pins and also has 8 full pins in the top. The top right is the attachment input to the car itself.

The aftermarket radio was advertised as being for the Skoda Octavia 2  (2009-2013) so surely the top left input from the new head unit must attach to the car input on the top right? However when I tried it it just did not turn on at all.

Can any of you guys help with this?

Thanks

Looks like the wrong connector to me...

A mk2 Octavia uses a 40 pin quadlock but the new headunit looks like a 52 pin quadlock. You'll probably need an adaptor or to contact the seller for advise.
