Revo stage1 and a new exhaust on 1.6TDI

Featured Replies

I've just come across a 2017 Octavia with a 1.6TDI (110ps) with a 5 speed manual. Currently has around 100k km, mostly of city driving. I'm thinking about dropping a stage1 tune from Revo to up the power and bring down the fuel consumption. What are your experiences with stage1 tunes. The next upgrade I've been thinking about is a new exhaust system (which I guess might require modifying or replacing the rear bumper). Is it even a good idea and does anyone have a good system to recommend?

Just had a stage 1 done on my 1.6 manual - approx 3000 miles ago. Car is on 99,000 total.

Up to ~145hp/~325nm, improves the car, the ~325nm is available from approx 2000rpm. Car MPG has been calibrated tank to tank and returns just over 60mpg on a long run at 70 (cruise control), or less MPG if I'm enjoying an A road.

Not changed the exhaust.
