Octavia 2.0 TDI 2017 - Coolant & Timing belt

Featured Replies

Hello everybody, i’m gonna try it say with my little worsted english :)

So.. i’m gonna change my timing belt and water pump, with this one change coolant fluid in system too. If i know it well, now G13 isn’t supported in concern and using G12Evo (000096320JG), right?

How much i need from this coolant to completely change? Thanks 🙏

Because on the retainer is G13, but i’m reading of this and everywhere is compensation G12Evo. That’s right?

Yup - under the heading of "its a VW, so they damn well do what they want to" - we went from G11, G12+, and G13, then back to G12++ and G12evo.  There is a table of what is compatable with what; but for the sake of what you are doing - just use G12evo Ready Mixed or G12evo concentrated and use mineral free water to dilute.
