Featured Replies

Does anybody else think the the front door trims move excessively when you push them at the top just to the back of the of the middle.

God I'm bored. But this strange anomaly really annoys me. It seems to detract from the quality of the otherwise nice interior. I think I'm going to end up stripping the doors myself to see if there's any way to reduce this flex and get rid of some of the door rattles I have.

My car went in for a respray of the drivers side. Now there is a rattle/creak in the door trim of the drivers door which drives me mad. The place that did the work said they only had to remove the door handles and side trims and that the door itself wasn't stripped down so it isnt their fault. Back to the dealers then i guess.

My door trim can make a clonk in that same place but only if I purposely grab hold of it there! I guess it isn't supported well on the inside at that point.

Yep, im now on my second octy 2 and I can confirm they both had that niggle with door trims.

Have you tried doing that in a superb?

There's a vast amount of flex in there

Totally agree,

The only problems I have encountered with my Octy in a year are trim related and your comments are one of them!

I agree again, notice it when I rest my elbow on it.
