New to this forum, hope you can help. Our 2006 Octavia has packed in. Have seen a 2010 Superb Diesel with 140k on clock, around 3.5k.

Timing belt just done, new Mot 

Just wanted to ask what people's thoughts were on how many more miles it might have in it?

As Mac's alluding to, there's a 2.0 TDI that's a right lemon, and ticking time bomb for catastrophic oil pump failure - all covered here:

Not yet as they are closed on the weekend, but spoke to them last night 

find out what engine code it has, and ask about -

clutch, flywheel, timing belt and service history (fixed or variable etc) all the usuals.
