2009 Skoda Octavia Estate,

1.8Tsi Petrol,

Laurin & Klement,

1ZU i think...

 

Can't seem to connect to the factory fitted stereos bluetooth, BT-Audio is greyed out on the control panel & there doesn't seem to be a way to select it. Have Bluetooth turned on in the settings, but my Umidigi phone is not finding anything when i search or try to pair a new device.

 

Do you need any app on your phone, or firmware updates etc...

 

Can't get it to work,

Any suggestions?

Think this post partially answers my question, looks like it has bluetooth capability on the stereo but not got the right wireing

 

 

The Bolero doesn't have inbuilt BT.

 

Instead, BT is handled by a separate module which is normally under one of the front seats (passenger side??).

 

To start with, I'd be checking to see if a BT module is fitted

Ok, thanks will take a look at this tomorrow & see if its got anything fitted...
