My Scala is a Style spec (I think something between SE and SE L)  with 1.0 TSI 110 and manual gearbox. 

Hello, just received a phone call from dealer, the car is ready and will be in Romania in about two weeks. Earlier than expected but i will wait to arrive before to open the wine   

Ordered 2 Aug, had an email a couple of days ago saying the car is built and on it's way, 4-6 weeks quoted, Monte Carlo 1.5DSG with no options. At any other time I would have cancelled if I'd had to wait this long!

It's my first petrol-engined car ever, so I'm still adapting to it, and trying to lower fuel consumption.

 

I actually wanted to post a screenshot of the fuel consumption from MyŠkoda app, but it wants to register my car again. Weird. But I've read that other users have the same problem. Not the most stable app out there for sure... 

 

Regarding the delivery date, try to nudge your dealer more frequently. Here in Štasni, they... required nudging because I wouldn't get any info if I didn't ask for it...

I was quite surprised with the consumption when I had test vehicle for few days…with 1.5 dsg petrol engine, with my daily drive and use I came with 6.2 litres and that’s the same I’m having it with Hyundai i10 🤷🏻‍♂️ so that quite impressed me. 
About the nudging…that was the main reason I ordered car at the official dealer Porsche Slovenia, just that I could have first hand info about anything…and still I don’t have 🤣 but now I’m in a phase that I don’t care that much…I know I have quite a lot extras on and just because the price rising at the moment I’m not going to cancel my order…I know I would pay around 5000€ more with less equipment if I was ordering it now. So unless they don’t inform me that my order is unable to proceed I’m not giving up 😆 maybe I’ll even get the facelift if this continues 😜

Oh, by all means - don't cancel it! I'm guessing that your dealer has guaranteed the price from the day you ordered your Scala. I'm asking because I got it for the price I ordered it in September.

 

Just a few days before I finally got my car, out of curiosity I checked what would the price be for the very same car if I ordered it that day.

 

Well,it was around 3k EUR more expensive.

It is guaranteed that’s even signed in contract I checked it. So I’m not cancelling it for sure.

Welp, I have an update. Today my front left daytime LED has died.

 

I'm not driving the car for the whole month yet. Just incredible.

I would say it’s probably a wireing issue I doubt it’s bad led…what did they told you at the service garage?

Called them today. I'm going there on Tuesday, next week.

 

Thankfully, this fault is covered by warranty.

It would be insane not to be in warranty. Only damage caused by yourself or pieces that are bad because of normal use as it ages and normal maintenance parts are not under warranty. So as a whole a lot is under warranty during the warranty period.

Yeah. Funny thing, just before I got the car I asked them if the DRL failure goes under warranty. Like I knew this would happen 😂

 

Because if the DRL fails, they have to change the whole headlight. And that's super expensive.

Omg really, they need to change it all   That is very expensive indeed: headlight + working hours. But then i would suppose it should last at least 5 years right ?

That's a good question indeed! 😅

 

Hopefully it's just some minor issue. Because if it's a faulty headlight or a faulty headlight controller, I'll start losing confidence in reliability of this car.

Ok, update. The DRL works today 

 

No idea what happened yesterday. Perhaps some software thing or whatever.
