New Power Steering Fluid For MK2, 2012 Superb?

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have a 2012 Superb estate Mk2 1.6 TDI. To my knowledge the power steering fluid has never been changed in the car and it's probably time it got replaced.

Can the power steering fluid be replaced in this car?

Can MK2 Skoda Superbs use any type of standard power steering fluid?

Does it even have fluid? I'd think it will be electromechanical, motor on rack?

I'm not sure. 🤔Hopefully it's fully electric. Would be grateful if someone can shed some light on this please?

Superb 2 uses electric power assistance rather than hydraulic, so no fluid to be changed.
