Can someone remind me whats the difference between the two P buttons, there’s one in front of the gear selector and one to the side. I use the one in front when I park, but what’s the other one for?

The one on the gear selector puts the DSG box in Park (which effectively locks the gears).

The other is the electronic Parking Brake.

 

There is a setting which activators when you turn off the engine by pressing the start/stop button. My loaner had that on by default.
