Fabia 2020 dashboard change?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

first time posting and require a little help please.

can anyone tell me if they changed the dashboard design in the MK3 Fabia? I’m currently in need of a new dash for a 2020 and I’m not going to be paying dealership prices. I’ve seen a few around advertised like 2015-2019 and then some are 2018 - on. So I’m a little stuck.

if anyone could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

The Fabia got a facelift for 2018, hence why you're seeing things for '18 on. If your car is a '20 model you'd be safest going for a dash out of an '18 on car.

Is it the instrument cluster or the actual big piece of hardware you need?

Thanks for the reply. It’s the actual dashboard as in the whole piece. I wasn’t sure if the interior had a facelift or it was just the outside.

Perhaps you could put a photo up and those with pre-2018 cars can say it's not the same and those with 2018-on can say yeap that's the same as mine.

Ah ok, I don't think it will matter what age of one you get from then. The overall shape of the dash is the same throughout. It was just bits of trim changed in the facelift I believe.

A Google search of images from brochures would give you a better indication. Compare from maybe the 2016 brochure and your own car.

Just being nosey but what's happened to your dash, is it not repairable?

That’s a good shout. I’ll grab some photos and link them to the post. Thanks

They do look pretty similar just wasn't 100% sure if they’d changed the actual shape of the dash in any way. Luckily I have to old pieces of trim etc.

The airbags have been deployed as it’s been in an accident and I’m repairing it for a friend. As I say was slightly confused due to there being different age brackets for the mk3 then there being the facelift.

thanks for the help

I thought it must be something like that. That's no bother.

It'd be interesting to know how you get on if you don't mind keeping us updated?
