Enyaq - rear USB sockets not working

Featured Replies

I've just taken delivery of my Enyaq 80, and the USB sockets in the rear seats aren't working. Are these standard on all models or only available depending on which upgrades have been taken? If standard, is there any setting that needs changing to get them to work? I've got the micro USB to USB adapter which works fine in the front but is totally dead in the back.

Many thanks for any replies.

Is this for charging or something else?

Have you  checked the fuse?

Otherwise I'd get the dealer to look at it as if they are fitted then they should work.

Just charging - kids in the back "need" their phones to be charged at all times!

They are optional.  I fed a cable from the boot 12v socket through the armrest!

Did you put USB sockets in armrest? How did you get from socket through, is it easy? Did you just put a 12v socket USB adapter in socket and feed USB wires through?

The most basic lash up possible, not even any cable management (need a longer cable)

Just wondering has anyone thought of a more elegant solution? In Ireland, you get the 2x USB-C ports only if you order the family pack which is over 300 euro. It's crazy how they have cut corners as inserting 2 USB ports at the back of the centre console wouldn't cost more than 5 euro

I've now taken it into the dealer, and it is apparently a software fault that is being worked on but it could be into the new year before they have any updates.
